Grade I & II

The class assessment (CA) of students for grade I & II is done in two terms.

In each term 4 CA’s of 15 marks each will be conducted, out of which best three CA’s will be calculated.

CA (45 Marks) + Oral (5 Marks) = Total (50 Marks) CA (45 Marks) + Oral (5 Marks) = Total (50 Marks) 100 Marks

Grade III to IX

For classes III to X CCE pattern as specified by CBSE is followed. 
The first level is the Formative Assessment wherein the understanding/ knowledge of the student is assessed when a concept is taught.

The second level is the Summative Assessment where questions asked are based on subject skills.

The goal of formative assessment is to monitor student learning to provide ongoing feedback that can be used by instructors to improve their teaching and by students to improve their learning.

The goal of Summative Assessment is to measure the level of success or proficiency that has been obtained at the end of a few instructional units, by comparing it against some standard or benchmark.

Students are assessed in two areas - Scholastic and Co-scholastic. The syllabus is divided Term wise and not carried forward to the next term.
